UAE Data Maturity Map

Preliminary Findings 

November 21, 2022 

The MMA partnered with EY and developed an assessment to assess the maturity of consumer data in organizations.

Our survey covered more than 20 variables of data maturity that represent some of the most important decision areas for marketers when it comes to formulate their data strategies.

We have completed the first phase of our survey and shared the preliminary findings with UAE marketing experts on November 21st.

Highlights of preliminay findings are:


  • Consumer data is being used to a large extent with 80% of the respondents saying they are using data to some extent

  • There is a leadership vision where 70% of the companies have embedded or are trying to embed data into their organizations

  • However there is still a way to go on data quality, ROI, measurement models and excellence, incorporating the right human resources into the company and defining the governance and data ownership into the organizations.
