  2. Helping users understand the products and campaign message better by inviting them to engage.


 

Approach:

 

The promise of Jif products are keeping every surface clean, and making cleaning an easy process for the customers. Jif wanted to show users how the products work by creating an experience for them. Used interactive mobile video ad technology: Aurora. 

 

By creating an interactive video campaign partnering AdColony, Jif had an opportunity to showcase creativity, and deliver experiences that uniquely fit their specific branding and engagement goals. Users were invited to choose a surface to clean. The ad allowed them to touch the screen during the video. By rubbing the screen users tried to clean the surface of their own choice. When they couldn’t manage to clean the surface properly, the product enters the screen and shows how effective Jif is. At the end of the executions users had a chance to choose from different surfaces to play again. At the end of the video users were exposed to AdColony’s trademark Dynamic End Card in which they were able to learn more about the products.


 

Results:

 

  • Jif reached almost 600.000 unique users and the video was completed more than 1 million times. 

  • As a result of cleaning the surfaces, users interacted with the ad 4.730.894 times. The engagement rate was an incredible 251%. 

  • Jif managed to create 25% Ad Recall uplift.
